This post details the process in which my group (Nathan Caliendo and Toka Khaliunbaatar) and I created an RC Battleship for our 2024 Maker Faire project.

Project Abstract
As technology improves, it is obvious that children would begin to spend more and more time on their devices. Although a little time on devices poses no problem, too much time spent on apps, especially social media and video sharing platforms, can be harmful to a child’s development. In addition, children are beginning to lose interest in toys. Toys can be beneficial for children’s imaginations and playing with others can improve social skills. Our goal is to create an interesting and entertaining toy that is able to retain children’s attentions.
